Wrong. Econ 101. Supply. Demand. Cost of goods does not change that curve

You have to be kidding me. CAM and taxes for commercial leases go up based on the CAM and taxes.

You are like the teacher in Back to School where Rodney has to explain the realities of paying off politicians and unions when you run a business.

He also generally opposes regulations that increase the cost of doing business.

NO SHIT!  What’s the benefit to the opposite?  You want to make it more costly to do business? Why?

Murph, I will let you know what my buddy, who had to agree to offset 2 years of Cook County property taxes from his sales price in order to sell his house, says when I let him know that property values have nothing to do with property taxes....

We all know Nichi loves to pay taxes. The more the better!

No, he loves other people paying them.  Like all socialists. When you are sucking on the teat of the public pension system, then you don’t want any govt program cut bc ultimately they will eventually get to yours.

I mean the dude literally wants more red tape.  He actually thinks it’s a negative for businesses to do business as easily as possible.

Nichi-  move to Venezuela.  You’ll love it there.  Or China.  Or stay in Illinois until they run out of money which will be by 2030.

God Forbid we ever actually get a conservative in the White House.  Someone that only protects the borders and cuts spending and cuts taxes. Not the Trump era spend spend spend populism.   Some of you people gonna have to get off your asses and get to fucking work

Some more truth telling / outrage mongering.

How do you listen to this guy and not think “he belongs in the highest chamber of Congress?”

You are incoherent.

Simple example again. County raises taxes. Landlord tells tenant "I am raising your rent to pay for my taxes". Tenant can either decide to pay it, or say "no, if you raise my rent, I'm walking"

That's economics.

If I am a landlord and I have to put on a new roof, does the tenant pay? No. If the landlord wants to raise the rent to get the income to pay it, they can try. But the tenant pays rent, determined  by the market, not the landlord's costs.

And if the payoffs are too high, you quit the business. QED. Economics

You made my point. The owner of the house paid the property taxes, not the purchaser. The seller was not able to pass the property taxes on to his buyer.

I’d love to hear our board conservatives tell us how they feel about 4 more years of JB Pritzker.

The ironic thing about democrats is they claim to be looking out for the best interest of the lower class, but their energy policies harm the lower class more than anyone.

Wealthy people can afford $5/gallon gas, and high heating bills.  The lower class are affected disproportionately.  So why would any person making under 50,000 ever vote for Democrats?

The only good thing Trump did in office was the Supreme Court.  Roe V Wade dead.  Affirmative Action dead.  But the courts can’t fix bad fiscal/energy policy

Most conservatives have left Illinois by now and don’t give a fuck. Like me.
