Democrats are still popular. Too bad the same thing can’t be said for Joe.
Chris Christie keeps putting Republican failures on bad candidates, starting at the top with Trump.
It's a really interesting argument to put forwards when Ohio's "candidates" were "Constitutional Right to Abortion" and "Legalized recreational use of Marijuana". It's not the candidates - it's the policies.
He then tried a word salad about how the true conservative position is to return the power to regulate abortion to the states. That's apparently why the protestors on Dobbs were carrying around copies of the Federalist Papers and tearing up screaming "STATES RIGHTS" and not "ABORTION IS MURDER".
Sending abortion decisions to the states isn't really "Pro-Life" when the states vote to allow abortion. The real "Pro-life" position is "Gerrymander the hell out of shit so we can pass abortion restrictions in the legislature that would fail a statewide popular vote". Abortion rights won 57-43 in Ohio in a statewide vote. If an abortion measure hit the statehouse in Ohio, it would lose 60-40.
CNN then asked him "If you are about states deciding on this issue, does that mean if you were President, would you sign a federal abortion ban". That caused some really nice fancy dancing by Christie.
