He does? Even the new law; which has not gone into effect, allows detention of dangerous people. She's obviously a threat to herself and others at this point. It sounds like she should be detained in a mental health facility. Too bad mental healthcare is woefully underfunded.

This was just brought to my attention. Victims of housing insecurity shall henceforth be called unhoused. Anyone caught using the word homeless is subject to public scorn and possible loss of employment.

Why has unhoused replaced homeless?
The label of “homeless” has derogatory connotations. It implies that one is “less than”, and it undermines self-esteem and progressive change. The use of the term "Unhoused", instead, has a profound personal impact upon those in insecure housing situations.
