Thank you for the COLA increase I guess, but I've been told that inflation is a global problem and POTUS isn't responsible for the inflation.

Instead of spending the increase put it in the grandkids' 529 plans.

The two biggest food inflation issues right now are...
1) Tomatoes. 95% of tomatoes consumed in the US are grown in the CA central valley. Tomatoes need water, and there is none
2) Oranges. Hurricane Ian trashed the Florida crop

I want the Democrats to ask DeSantis for his plan to move the hurricane water to the Sierra Nevadas

Biden didn't cause the pandemic or the results t inflation, crime, etc, but if you want you to blame him; then you have to give him and Dems credit for the positive side effects.

I am curious as to the positive side effects of crime. It showed what a farce Defund the Police was/is? It showed how inept "progressive" District/State's Attorneys are? I hang up and listen to your answer.

It is arguable that Biden exacerbated inflation with his spending package. We can only speculate how much worse it would have been if Joe Manchin had gone along with the whole spending package. Again, a lot of moronic assholes who like to lose elections people owe Joe Manchin a big apology.

Trump's tax policies were supposed to encourage GDP growth. Instead, corporations used tax savings to buy back their own stock. Trump took credit for resultant overvalued market.

The pandemic recession reduced demand for oil, resulting in losses for American oil producers. It got so bad, Trump was begging and threatening the Saudis and Russkies to cut production. The recovery plus low production resulted in current high prices.  Now American oil companies are using profits to reward investors with dividends instead of increasing production. With the energy and transportation sectors decarbonizing, the fossil fuel companies are pivoting to plastics (aka the “New Coal”).  Shell just opened a petrochemical plant in western PA that will use ethane produced at the region’s natural gas wells to make tiny polyethylene pellets for plastic manufacturing.
