The right-wing echo chamber is all over the claim the victim was a Republican killed by a Democrat.  Perhaps it’s true, but for now the only source of this claim is the assailant’s call to 911. 

You believe the murderer?  He was so threatened he got into his car and killed a kid instead of driving away?  The guy had a 0.08 blood alcohol level at the time.  Stories told by drunk hit-and-run drivers which exonerate their actions are typically treated skeptically by the police.  We shouldn’t assume he was telling the truth or was in any condition to know what he was talking about.   

This story is particularly murky and needs some details.  It might have nothing to do with politics at all.  The evidence will eventually come out one way or the other.

This is exactly what is wrong with the left.  Free speech = the right to agree with me. Pretty much the position of both sides.

She should transcribe the film into book form and donate copies to school libraries. When Texas bans it, the left will rush to her defense.
