The wait was short. I can’t remember being upset with how my things have been bagged. Why would I take someone else’s job, and do it for free? Only someone who really loves billionaires would do such a thing.

You cannot subsidize your way to wealth. You cannot redistribute what you never let people produce. Every ringgit funneled through a quota is a ringgit some bureaucrat spent on his own vision instead of a customer's.

Malaysia bet on planners deciding outcomes. Singapore bet on people deciding for themselves. The gap between $84,000 and $13,000 is your answer.

If every country was Singapore, we'd all have a ton of money and nothing to eat. If it all goes to shit, they can't eat that offshored money. It's also a country that operates on de facto slavery, it's labor force is mostly Malay and Philipino workers who are abused and paid next to nothing. I know some people there (they have your Grindr stats Custard), trust me on this one.

That's also market economy versus central planning.

Nobody here is supporting old school socialism with "command" economies..

The United States doesn't have a free market economy. We have central planning by big corporations, most in their interests.
