Trump is a willing participant for sure, but we aren't there if not for Israel. Any objective person would agree, or at least consider that a valid take.

Pretty sure a big chunk of Europe and the US decided to create Israel and then vowed to protect it.

At least part of the reason Trump has made a point of calling out EU countries is because we have spent way more than our fair share defending their asses while they funded their sunshine and rainbows welfare systems with the savings (and 55% effective taxation).

We didn’t need help from them, it was a ruse that gave Trump an excuse to call them out for once again failing to rise to the occasion. They won’t do anything to protect Israel and many other nations from the existential threat that is Iran with persistent nuclear ambitions.

You think we have a supply chain issue now, just imagine what Iran could do with nukes. We were probably one more Democrat presidential term away  from them having them.

How secretly upset are you guys that the Democrats attempted to use the only leverage they had to defund ICE, causing the TSA problem in the process, but Trump sent ICE to the airports and paid TSA with an executive order?

I think it’s funny that it’s barely being reported on when it was all they could talk about when the lines were long. The headlines in my morning emails from the New York Times briefly mention that despite them getting paid, a lot of them still haven’t returned to work and it could take time before things get back to normal. I was looking at the CNN tracker for wait times on Saturday and again this morning and they were/are pretty damn low.
