Not saying Saudi Arabia wouldn't be eager to sign off on this, but the idea they are the reason we're there is pretty laughable. I understand why they wouldn't, but if they had so much desire for this you'd think they'd be involved in the military effort.

No one here is falling for your "anti-Semitic" gaslighting. Being critical of Israel does not = "anti-Semitism." I've known/been friends with plenty of Jews, and wish no person ill will for their "Jewishness."

Yes, going back for over a century.  Prior to WWII, many Jews living in Middle Eastern countries were opposed to creating a sovereign Jewish state.  They preferred an approach of assimilation and integration with their Muslim and Christian neighbors.
