In many respects, Kirk was a pretty run of the mill shallow right winger who brought fame and fortune throwing rhetorical hand grenades and using cheap theartrics. He know exactly what he was doing going to college campuses and saying racist and homophobic shit and recording the reactions for his podcasts. It was entertainment for MAGA Land.
He wasn't really any different than Rush Limbaugh or Alex Jones. People who saw a market for selling hate and figured they would exploit that for their own personal gain.
Yeah, he didn’t do much, except awaken a huge movement of young conservatives (especially on college campuses) that had been almost completely suppressed the last 20+ years. His death cemented that legacy and gave the movement even more motivation.
Let’s be honest, you don’t even really care about the supposed “homophobic” and “racist” comments…you just got those from memes and carefully edited material. Zero percent chance you’ve ever watched any of his actual material. You hated him because he was effective at eroding the heart and soul of the leftist bastions—kids being indoctrinated in leftism by federally funded institutions. OF COURSE you have to discredit him. OF COURSE you have to accuse him of vile things. Because his success hit you where it hurts the most.
Nobody worked harder to change people’s minds in a peaceful way than Charlie Kirk. He lived a life on the road practicing civil discourse and in doing so won a huge following of young people that will shape the nation for a couple of generations. OF COURSE you’re mad. The left doesn’t have anyone like him, half the left has their fingers in their ears screaming about Trump and the other half tears down statues and burns down businesses. And now that he’s gone, there will about 10 more that take his place.
