Well he appears to have all the access in the world to those treatments. What’s his excuse?!
Ok - that treatment is expensive but people with these issues tend to not have money. What do you propose we do, oh wise one…?
Last week I decided to try and do something nice for the guy who sleeps in the park with his 2 Walmart shopping carts after the Kirk assassination. Asked him what his clothes size are. He gave me an answer and I gave him a "Who you crapping" look, but accepted what he said. Went home on Thursday and got 6 or 7 t/athletic shirts for him and put them on his cart on Friday morning as he was sleeping. Was gone all weekend and saw him today. Still wearing the same dirty t shirt he has worn for the past 3 months. Should have just given the shirts to the veterans.
Exactly, Mn. Now all you progressives weirdos on the board here, please chime in and tell what you’re supposed to do when they have access to the medications and treatments but don’t take them?! You wanna be their babysitter since you care so much…?
If they have a violent history, and refuse to take their meds I guess you lock them up. IDK I’m not an expert in the field of mental health or reforms, but seems someone should have been trying harder.
Sure, someone…You screamed help them while you sit and do nothing but point fingers!!! Your part is done…
You want me to take him into my house?
If you’re so concerned and blaming others for not getting him help! Remember, progressive, you signed up for shit like that…
That’s why we pay taxes. You can strawman your way through this all you want, but mental health workers and the courts should have their finger on this. We can subsidize corporations like Amazon, Tesla, and Exxon to the tune of billions, but can’t figure out how to keep dangerously mentally ill people off the streets.
