fuck man half the country cares that he lies. That’s part of why they hate him. We can, as adults, acknowledge there is some level of irony in the fact that Walz has lied and the same people mad about the lying just act like it’s fine because he’s not Trump. Plus you keep saying he misspoke or accidentally had the wrong dates. Nonsense.
One of the things that I think was a bad framing by "The Democrats" (not like it would have taken hold or that anyone would care) is that you can't even tell when he's lying. Half of the so called policy shit he threw up against the wall is going to vanish like a whisper in the wind. A bunch of people getting all jacked up that their tips or overtime aren't going to be taxed - I'd put the chances of him even trying to get Congress to put that in at maybe 10%. Major US Companies are trying to figure out right now if he's serious about the tariffs, and making wagers into the billions based on that guesswork.
That's the sort of thing that chokes an economy - complete chaos and uncertainty.
I wonder if Harris had said in the debate "he said he will do X, Y, Z - but we don't really know if he will do it or not, we'll just find out later, maybe he was serious, maybe he doesn't remember what he said, maybe he said that you didn't understand what he meant. He says he won't tax tips, but Mike Johnson will never put that on the floor, so it will never get to his desk. If it got to his desk, he might just veto it. Who knows!"
That probably would have been a lot better than trolling him on crowd size. Because then Trump would have had to take a clear stand on the biggest stage that people would remember. "concepts of plans" indeed.
