Again, I think if Trump actually does what he says he's gonna do, prices will go up, not down, so from an economic standpoint, I think Harris was the better candidate - despite some weird wonky policy ideas I think wouldn't have done very much.

We'll see. The tariffs may end up being hot air. Trump is a lot more talk than he is doing. We'll live. Stock's at an all time high. Q97's calls at an all time low. What a time to be alive

i don't disagree, but it's not really clear how to accomplish that. Granted they clearly don't try very hard, when they cleared the deck for Hillary in 2016, had a pretty shenanigan filled 2020, and didn't have a conversation in 2022 that Biden was gonna be in it for just one term.

We could also get into the Republicans holding several debates where the frontrunner didn't bother to show up to allow the voters to compare candidates, and the party did jack squat about it.

These are private organizations. Unless you're a goddamn commie, they can do what they want. Just like any business, if they do a bad job, they go out of business.
