I’ve often wondered why the left gets so mad that Trump wants the European members of NATO to pay their fair share? Why get so mad when people want reasonable border policy?
Seems the left truly wants a globalist agenda and open borders, but only provides lip service to the contrary.
I don’t want any part of the sick secular progressivism that’s swept Europe and threatens to import, unfettered, the third world into the US going forward.
The global elites are wolves in sheep’s clothing and seek only to consolidate wealth for themselves by importing cheap labor and suppressing wages. Then they’ll happily throw you in jail for expressing your dissent.
The left also hates Musk for calling out the lies of the globalists and allowing free speech on X, so it all makes sense now.

We benefit a lot more from NATO than Europe. Sure, the Russkies might run them over with NATO not being around - and they'd be occupied by Putin's jack booted thugs - but we'd lose 25% of our entire customer base and our economy would go into the shitter. Paying a few pennies to keep Romania and Estonia from becoming East Moscow again returns a huge deal on our investment. And if Eastern Europe were to fall, it would cost a LOT more to keep the Russians out of Germany and France which would REALLY cost us money long term. NATO is a huge deal for the US, and the Europeans know it. Even logistically, we have big airbases in Germany/etc... if we aren't funding NATO and get kicked out of Rammstein...
The border? We've all been fooled on the border. No matter what, the US does not function in it's current wealthy manner without that immigrant labor. If we "shut the border" and no immigrants come in, our economy craters. The real solution is to have a very aggressive guest worker program - you want to come in and work, no problem, unless there is evidence of violent crime in your home country, you can get a visa and work. If you don't have a visa, you can't work. People unable to work won't come - what's the point? But this won't happen because the current system keeps labor cheap and puts the cost of immigration onto the taxpayers. Fixing the system will put the cost on employers, who have bought congress to keep the current system because they don't want to pay more for labor. The RIGHT is the one who wants an open border while telling racists they want a closed border in order to stay in power so they can.. keep an open border. The left just doesn't want kids in cages.
The "third world" is ALREADY HERE. Picking your crops and busing your tables. You LOVE it. You LOVE cheap prices. You just want to PRETEND that that guy in the fields "came here the right way" and not smuggled in by coyotes in cahoots with employers who will throw them all under the bus and say "oh his papers were faked"
Suppressing wages? You sit here and complain about Biden's inflation that is CAUSED BY HIGH WAGES. Then you say that Biden's open border is suppressing wages? You're incredible in your inconisistency!
Musk? One thing that would be good about closing the border is maybe that dude would do less fentanyl.
