The 1st quote refers to a President.

The 2nd quote refers to someone who apparently got classified material out of a SCIF as a Senator (that's a no-no), told his ghostwriter about classified material ( that's a no-no), who happened to delete the audio recordings after finding out about the special prosecutor being named re Biden.

What stories did you dismiss as being Russian disinformation and Covid disinformation ?

The 1st amendment was not an afterthought. It is the 1st one.
And it should apply to every fucking administration, and not just the people you're deranged about.

From what I have read, even the SCOTUS Conservatives were skeptical of the ruling. Maybe wishful thinking on the media's part? Maybe not. The NRA 1st Amendment case before them appeared to have more legs though. Maybe? Maybe not.

We shall see.

It's a slippery slope and there's a good chance that enough of the conservative judges, who the left want to demonize whever a ruling doesn't go their way, will side with the government's position in an effort to err on the side of caution re the government's ability to monitor the flow of information.

Monitoring the flow and having the ability to say what they want is not the same as efforts to control the flow.

I am shocked…SHOCKED…that the resident Democrats hate that Twitter is no longer a propaganda and censorship bureau for Democrats. And that Elon Musk, champion of free speech, is now a mortal enemy. Still chuckling over his evisceration, mutilation, and pulverization of Don Lemon.
