They crossed the border with no coats, money, or food and no plan. Whose fault is that? C'mon.
So would you put them on a bus in South TX and drop them off at a gas station on the east side of Kankakee at 4:30 AM on December 22?
A "libertarian" friend asked me how many illegal immigrants I took in. I asked him how well private charities and extended families were dealing with the problem.
The traditional cato style libertarian position is we should eliminate all forms government welfare programs. If we did that; then private charities and extended families would step up to the plate.
I once believed that crap.
It's a government problem. Part of the problem is we have a two party political system. One party is mostly concerned with making sure government programs fail. The other one wants to make sure we use the right pronouns.
By the way, traditional cato libertarians also support completely open borders.
