Send me a link. I googled it.  I would assume Forbes or National Review would have something. Even the NYT, WaPo, CBS, NBC, etc.

I would think AP, Reuters, USA,  and a few others would do fact check responses.

There is nothing.

There is a ton of video showing the rioters breaking in, fighting with police, etc.

I suppose some rioters  bull rushed guards. The guards may have retreated for their own safety. Edit the video out of context, viola!

It is amazing the lengths Trump apologists will go to in order to normalize his gross misconduct.

The reality is he thought he could twist some arms to get GA to send a some more votes his way.

He also thought he could persuade Pence to either recognize alternative electors or else decertify the election and throw it to the House.

I think it’s cute and kinda scary that Alum and Nichi think that it was all organic and done by Trump. And that what they see on CNN and NPR and Mother Jones is the only truth. But then again they’re about the only ones here old enough to remember the days when the media was considered trustworthy so it makes sense.

Why would I want anyone breaching the Capitol? Not believing the “official Democrat 1/6 narrative” is a far cry from  condoning a breach of the Capitol.

I’ve mentioned it here before but in the 90s and 2000s saying “fake news” was a left wing thing then became a right wing thing in the 10s.

Their believability level of a given news outlet lines up directly with how much they confirm one’s bias. But they are without a doubt a propaganda arm for the government and the big money that pulls its strings. It’s laughable anyone could even argue otherwise.

I’m to the point where basically unless I was there and saw something with my own eyes it’s probably some middle ground between what different outlets are trying to tell me and it’s basically impossible to know which is which. And frankly it doesn’t really matter.

But we have people here that seem to know exactly what happened at these events based solely on what their preferred news outlet showed them. The same news outlets they sought out and stuck with because they already give them the news they want to see and hear. It’s a tough cycle to break and it’s very divisive.
