They don't/won't do anything about it. And then bitch about how Abbott is handling the situation, where people storm into his state, illegally!? And he shouldn't have flown these people to Chicago or NY, fly 'em to Mexico City, El Salvador,  Caracas,  etc. The bullshit needs to stop. Come here LEGALLY.

The overhaul of our immigration laws is indeed complex stuff, especially if you want to deal with the issue in a comprehensive manner.  Piecemeal, incremental approaches are clearly not working.  No amount of excuse-making, rhetoric or foot stomping will change that.  It will require those that advocate for improved border security and those that advocate for an achievable pathway to citizenship to come together to reach a bi-partisan deal.  Both sides will have to compromise in order to overcome the congressional gridlock.
