Good points. The GOP wanted cheap labor and the Dems wanted them to register as Democratic.

I saw on the news a story at a meat packing plant that a 14 year old from Central America died, fell into machine or some pit. A 14 year old. Not sure where this plant was.

About 30 years ago my cousin and his brother in law lost their jobs at a meat packing plant in Beardstown...... so the head honchos could replace them with Hispanics, possible illegals at cheaper wages.

There are actually relatively few violent crimes committed by illegal aliens. Angry white guys with guns are probably a bigger threat.

Also, blaming Biden's policies for the recent surge is ignorant.

All the blame can't be put on Biden, though he's awfully effing slow/non-existent to do anything about it. Basically waving his arms, it's OK to come on in when he became Prez.
Over 40 years of complaining about the border situation and nothing gets done. Hasn't mattered if GOP or Dems in the White House or Senate or House, nothing gets done, just talk, nothing accomplished. But you and I have to pay for this shit.

Just about everyone agrees our immigration laws must be revamped.  We’re largely operating on a framework dating to 1965.   Unfortunately every time a small group of congresscritters starts work on a bipartisan plan, it gets demonized and the whole thing has to be scrapped.
