So, as you guys know, Hurricane Ian is on its way.  My parents and my brother in law and his family live in the area, and are preparing.

This sounds like it's gonna be a bitch.  I'm hoping they come out of it ok, but who the fuck knows. 

If people wish to contribute to this thread, here are the rules: 

1.  Don't be a dick.
2.  If this turns political at all, it's gone.  I want no Trump/Biden bullshit in here at all.  Just weather updates and well wishes for all.  If you can't keep the politics out of it, I'll just delete the thread.  Up to you fuckheads.
3.  If you can't handle #1 or #2, go fuck yourself.

Anyway, if you have it in you, and you happen to say prayers before bed, include my family and whomever else down there.  That's all I ask.

I am very serious about this.  Do not bring the bullshit into this thread.  I'm looking at Judy and others.  No fucking politics.  Please. 

If you do, you can go fuck yourself and go to hell.  I want this to be a place where we can discuss this.  From only a weather perspective.  If you want to bring other bullshit in, start another thread.

By preparing you mean "left 3 days ago"? My brother in law boogied out of Jacksonville yesterday. My niece is riding it out in Ft Lauderdale but the cone never really included the Miami area, sounds like a lot of rain though.

Nope.  They put on the hurricane shutters and are riding it out.  Hopefully they can withstand it.
