The goal is to eradicate trans people.  There isn't another goal.  It's not about bathroom safety, self-evidently.  It's about getting rid of trans people and making their lives miserable.

Based on the video of the new story, a woman yelled out about a "man" using the washroom. The trans person does look like and sound like a man. The trans person tried to explain the situation. Does not sound like the woman in the bathroom was buying it. Group of guys hear the commotion and beat the trans person up. The men involved were not interviewed. Neither was the woman who yelled out. Cops arrested the trans person for being drunk and belligerent (the latter is understandable given the beating).

Wondering if it would have happened had the trans person used the men's room. I am doubtful given how the trans person does look and sound like a man.

Hopefully the local authorities will prosecute the attackers. Next time call the cops and let them sort it out.

Can't use the room for your AAB gender.  Can't use the one for your identified gender.

We were not presented with a "defense" from the woman or the men who beat the trans person up. So we do not know what they thought at the time.

I am skeptical anyone would have even known that the trans person was a biological woman if the trans person used the men's room. Obviously the lady in the bathroom thought the trans person was a man (for obvious reasons based on what I saw and heard in the video).

Again, call the cops instead of taking the law in your own hands.

Has Judge Judy used the terms murder or kill, something similar, in this context? I did a search and could not find a post where he used "murder" or "kill" in this context.

That you can't tell is and has always been exactly the fucking point.  Of course you can't tell, unless - as I've pointed out a hundred times - you pull up their shorts and check.  This is the exact genesis of the "Judy wants to check your junk" meme - there simply is not a way to know.

Maybe, instead of calling the cops, just let the person use the restroom in peace and go about your day?  Is that really a lot to ask?  If they attack you in the bathroom that's a crime whether the person is trans or not, that is when the cops should be called.  Criminalizing existence for certain people is not the answer.

Has she said "you can be sure I’ll be cutting his dick off" about a trans woman entering the women's room?  Yep.  Believe she has advocated for killing them as well, but don't have the direct evidence of that.

Now, do I think JudgeJudy would ever do that?  No, of course not.  She likely knows she's almost certain to get her ass beat trying to do that.  But it says a LOT about her that she openly fantasizes about that, and a lot about this board that very few people call that sort of behavior out.

I do not care about the who uses what bathroom stuff myself, but I certainly can understand how it could be abused by people who are not acting in good faith. It is easy to say to wait for someone to be attacked in a bathroom to call the cops. A "man" in the woman's bathroom would raise some red flags for anyone in the bathroom.

Would be pretty hard to justify the bathroom laws given how easily foreseeable this is, no?  Unless, of course, the goal has nothing to do with sexual assault and everything to do with further marginalizing one of the most marginalized groups in our society.  Which ANY honest accounting of the situation would make clear is accurate.  They don't want trans people to use their AAB bathroom, but they also don't want them to use the one corresponding to their gender identity.

If conservatives were really worried about their kids being sexually assaulted they'd be way less upset about Drag Queen Story Hour and way more upset about taking their kid to church on Sunday, but alas..
