It's legitimately impossible for me to empathize with the mindset that leads someone to mock someone for wanting to "dumb down America", and then in the next sentence advocates voting for Donald Fucking Trump to be President.

You can find some reason to like him - it eludes me completely, to be honest, but obviously you're not alone - but you have to admit, this dude is dumb as fuck.  A masterful public manipulator and promoter (would've said that well before I had any strong feelings about him politically), no question whatsoever -  but the dude's a complete idiot.  Right?  We can at least be straight-up about that?

We could have an entire sub forum of stupid social media posts and it still doesn’t mean shit other than that there are a lot of really stupid motherfuckers out there with some really stupid fucking ideas that 25+ years ago would have been banished to a private journal or at best an underground ‘zine. Or, most likely, being told to STFU by stepdad over dinner before returning to the basement abode.

Now these dipshits have a global platform and a tribe to encourage them. Or people like nichi who like to use extreme examples as some sort of proof of concept.

I hope some investigative reporter finds those Midwestern small-business owners, and asks which "regulations" impeded their farming, etc.

Was it dumping waste chemicals in the steams & aquifers, or simply inhumane conditions for the animals & migrants?
