We have a representative democracy. You get to vote for the School Board, the Superintendent of Education, etc..

Voting in said people and then storming the School Board meetings is ridiculous. Sure, you can go and make public comment, but what we are seeing now is nutty

Calling in the DOJ, the FBI etc should be sufficient to not letting parents have a role.

And what of the parents saying there is porn in the school library, or books to teach their kids to view people by race ?

Anyone here ever coach? If yes, did you want parents deciding who made the team, positions, playing time, strategy, and so on? If not, did you still welcome parental involvement?

This is so rich. If the parents were being silenced, how is it that we have all these videos of nutballs at school board meetings screaming and yelling.

The parents in said videos are trying to cow the school boards through intimidation. Not how it works. You go and make your public comment. You might not get your way. If you don't, your remedy is the school board election. This is called "Democracy with public participation"
