Quick update for MN: jeweler and Cricket across from Cermak Plaza had some broken windows. Old Navy in the mall itself currently being bordered up.  Berwyn has been on an early curfew. Oak Park Ave at Roosevelt was blocked off yesterday afternoon. The orange barriers were on the sidewalk when I just drove by there.

TY. Before I left the good place to be from Chicagoland area years ago, I tried not to go to that side of the tracks very often.

No, I just like to shop at Tony's (and Binny's). Tony's makes its own salsa (6-7 different types), has nice produce, sells the good, thick El Ranchero tortilla chips for nacho purposes cheap, has the butcher guys who trim the skirt steak and run it through some machine to cut the muscles/tendons/whatever to make it easier to cut when grilled, sells the Marconi brand giardinaera, giardinaera relish, pepperocini, and arribiatta spaghetti sauce (The Jewels (obligatory "s" added) only carries the giardinera from what I have seen), and has its own sushi guy who makes basic sushi for you at your command. Added bonus is that I discovered the existence of the Clausen Hot n Spicy pickles there. (Great in a bloody mary!) They really should hire me to do ads for them.
