Fundamentalism in any form is shitty and dangerous. There are lots of Muslims who aren’t out to enforce sharia law.

I think KKKustard just pretty clearly stated his preference is for a Protestant Christian nation. So basically, Christian nationalism.

Most of our most important founders were Deists, not necessarily “Christian.” They believed God existed, but was observable through nature. Ever heard of the “Jefferson Bible?” Jefferson literally went through the new testament and basically crossed out all of the magic tricks. They viewed Jesus as a great moral teacher, but they weren’t Bible thumpers by any stretch. George Washington never mentioned Jesus but referred to “Providence” many times in his writings and speeches.
