Haven’t watched his content but he’s former military so 1. Yeah he probably likes guns and ammo and 2. Why would he be licking his chops to fight the government he served?

Vast majority of fringe type gun owners I know all have stockpiles of food and ammo to protect their families if the thin veil of society breaks down.

Once the grocery store shelves are empty the people in cities who have no fucking idea how to grow anything themselves are going to start wandering out to the suburbs/country looking for any food they can get their hands on. And they probably aren’t going to be real diplomatic about it.

I’m sure there are nut jobs out there that fantasize about some type of Red Dawn scenario like Tempo seems to think, but damn near everyone I know has guns and none of them feel that way.

I don't think he did.  He's talking about those Doomsday Preppers, or whatever they are called, not people who think they will have to fight the government.  Though a there may be instances where that Venn Diagram overlaps.
