Purdy is no star, but he’s definitely advanced for a rookie. Especially last man picked. He will stick in the league a while. Could see him being a mid level/low end starter or quality backup.

I’d say Purdy had a good game:

63%
17-27 199 yards
Most importantly 0 turnovers

Dak turned it over twice and that’s the difference in the game

So wait? The narrative went from “he elevates everyone else around him” to “he’s so efficient?” Fields had some efficient games this year. And with much more explosiveness than Purdy.
Anyone who thinks Shanahan wouldn’t take Fields over Purdy is insane.

Kyle Shanahan calling a pass play on 3rd down was such a low reward high risk play.  It wasn’t smart

I'd say Purdy had a good game. He did the 3 things you want. He managed the offense, had no turnovers and got the win.
