Oh, so you took welfare? Fucking leach. Glad my tax dollars went to support your ass.

I had no problem with people using it to get back on their feet. That’s what it’s there for. Not to be a lifestyle that you stay on your entire life. There needs to be limits…

There will always be abuse, and there will always be corruption with that shit. That doesn't take away from the fact that, like you say, some people need it to get back on their feet. So, it's up to you to decide who really needs it and who really doesn't?

I love it when people who used to be on welfare punch down at people lol, and disguise it by saying, well, I don't mind if people use it to get back on their feet...blah blah. Your opinion is that people on it are abusing it.

Don't take it, then turn your life around and start punching down. That's fucked up. You don't know people's circumstances.

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Actually it is up to me within the guidelines set by the federal government. One of the fucked up things is that Illinois has waived the work/ABAWD requirements that the federal government has implemented. If you’re an abled-bodied person who isn’t on disability and between the ages of 18-59, you should be working. Everybody falls on hard times and that’s understandable. That’s what it’s there for. No reason you should be on that assistance for your whole life. That’s not some “hot take.” It was NEVER intended to be a life-long assistance. If you use it for that, then you’re abusing the system and lazy as fuck. Most who do that are selling it for drug money or trading it for them. Again, try and tell me that’s not the case. I see it every day…

And yet no one ever wants to talk about billions and billions in corporate welfare. Just the small handful of lower class people who abuse the system…

The most corrupt President in U.S. history, and it’s not close.

Probably isn’t against welfare, just tired of the waste, fraud, and abuse that occurs not just amongst some recipients, but within the administration of the programs themselves. Wanting to clean up and streamline the programs and bureaus isn’t indicative of wanting to abolish benefits for those in need; just a real world realization of the BS that goes on.

We all know you won’t be happy until the rich people you envy and despise pay a universal basic income for people. But until that happens it would be nice if you’d at least acknowledge that the system as it exists incentivizes some pretty negative behaviors.

And yet, again, no one ever talks about waste, fraud, and abuse that happens at the top. We sent what, one person to jail for the 2008 housing market crash? What poor people steal is a drop in the bucket compared to what the wealthy steal.

You mean those same corporations that are funding pension plans for teachers and union members as well as 401Ks for everybody else to use in retirement?

My favorite was the 80 year old guy at the dog park, a teacher who had been retired for 25 years in Oak Park, bitching about "corporations." I felt like saying, "Oh, those same corporations who have paid your salary in reitement for 25 years so you could afford to pay Oak Park real estate taxes? Those corporations?" How fucking oblivious.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

I’ve never heard you come to the defense of poor people, but complain about corporate greed and it’s “how dare you?! The audacity!”

The approved Alaska expedited request appears to have been for Oct storms.

"The states approved for disaster declarations include Alaska, which filed an expedited request after experiencing back-to-back storms this month that wrecked coastal villages, displaced 2,000 residents and killed at least one person. Trump approved a 100% cost share of disaster-related expenses for 90 days."

The mention of the denied request was 8 paragraphs later and was concerning a July incident.

Right. The July incident was an electrical fire confined to a public safety building, not really a natural disaster. Compare to the requests Illinois had rejected.

There is a pattern and they are not even trying to hide it.
“Taking a trip? Where to?”  -“Wherever I end up, I guess. -“Man, I wish I was you." -Well, hang in there.”
