I don't believe he is on calling in the National Guard and deploying Marines. He has not asserted the Insurrection Act yet. All they are allegedly doing at this point is protectng federal property and federal agents. That part, it appears, is legal at this time (even if it rarely is utilized).

If we are talking about shipping people off without hearings, ok. But hasn't that stopped (aside from those where it has already happened)?

And yes, people voted for this and many that did are lapping it up. People waving Mexican flags over burning cars is not a winning look here, Tempo. The same idiots are falling into the same traps placed over and over again.

This. Trump has progressives falling all over themselves to side with criminals, foreign nationals, terrorists, rioters, and other deeply unpopular topics. It’s fun to watch.

No. the proclamation he put out to justify the guard is open ended and would allow him to do all sorts of things that are illegal. If he just wanted to protect a building, then that's what he should say.

Trump is causing this BS.
1) If they want to deport people, there have always been reasonable and proper protocols to do so, that don't require raids with masked people who may or may not be law enforcement. The tactics used are specifically being used because they will trigger blowback. He wants the blowback. The blowback and protests are what he wants. He could care less about some dude who gets up at 6 AM to stand outside home depot to try to get work doing bathroom demolition.

2) The blowback is good because it gives him a pretext to justify sending out the thugs to "quell the protests". Because he wants to be "Strong" and send out the thugs.

3) He knows that sending out the thugs changes the blowback from a "march" to "fuck you I'm going to burn this car", and he wants that

4) "fuck you i'm going to burn this car" means trump can ramp it up even more.

Trump is the Derek Chauvin of immigration enforcement.

Despite this - California still kicks Kentucky's ass up down and sideways.

Noem bullshit

Putin wanted the US to breakup, and he found the guy.

Trump threatening funding to CA. Newsom says "well fuck you we won't pay our taxes if we don't get the funding being paid for with our taxes". Bessent says "we'll arrest you for tax evasion"

Sooner or later Gavin will get all the CA reps to just co-sponsor a resolution removing all federal support for medicaid, medicare, and a whole host of other things coupled with an ending of the US Federal Income tax. And dare the GOP reps in CA to refuse to sponsor it. And dare Mike Johnson to refuse to take a vote on eliminating the federal income tax. The best part is that Texas is also a huge donor state, so their GOP reps would be hard pressed to say no. Force those fuckers to vote against dismantling the federal government.

And that's how the Republic dissolves. And Custard ends up with either poor methheads robbing his house or he has to pay Kentucky triple what he was paying DC

The feds can go into workplaces with a judicial or admin warrant. Admin warrants you can tell them, adios, but they can hang in the public areas (your parking lot, lobby) and wait. Judicial, nope, they get to go where the warrant says they can go.

They can subpoena your I-9s, but have to give you some time to comply. If they have a judicial warrant, they can just take them.

So, these guys showing up at your warehouse door is not new news.  What is the new news is the amount of raids and the militarization of ICE. All of which is permissible. Maybe not  be smart in getting people to cooperate and not having protestors follow you around, but permissible nonetheless.

Shipping people off without a chance to object, not proper, as we have seen.

I didn't write the damn laws. If you don't like it, blame your local legislator. If you don't like the due process angles, blame the Republicans for not rewriting the laws. You don't like shipping off people who aren't causing trouble, blame the Dems for not rewriting the laws when they had the chance.

The irony should not be lost on people. That and the notion that masks are ok except when you are afraid of air quality or the COVID.

That dumb bitch has no idea what Palantir even does. How on earth did we reach the timeline where anyone cares about anything she says.

It’s the Trump administration, bro. We’re lucky Ted Nugent and the My Pillow Guy aren’t high level White House advisors.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Could be Kennedy’s right hand man at the least.
