Costello will say that the 1st thing that Cohen mentioned was Melania. Apparently the jury isn't supposed to hear those portrayals of the conversations between Costello and Cohen.

What is the "crime" ? There are assumptions but I don't believe anyone has specified what "crime" that the defense should be arguing.

The FEC wouldn't pursue a campaign violation.
Bragg, after running on the promise of holding Trump accountable, initially declined to pursue.

It’s literally throwing anything at the wall and hope it sticks kind of shit. The prosecution doesn’t really know what the charge they should be arguing is either. Just drag everything out as long as possible if nothing sticks is the strategy.

Trump isn't The PAMan and was running for President and had the Grab Them video already come out. Trump is free to testify about why they did what he did and refute the testimony that's been presented. Let's see if he does it.

Didn't Cohen testify that he lied to Costello too? Thought he did. Costello's testimony wouldn't be refuting testimony that Cohen already admitted to.

They want what Bragg campaigned and won election on, a pre-election conviction. The appeal will have to be won post-election.
