I would bet an American, A10 school, or lesser Big East school would take Podz and he could probably play 25+ minutes starting SG minutes. He had a Kansas offer out of high school apparently. Type of kid who often goes to a place like Dayton and then winds up averaging great numbers in 2-3 years.
If we run a 3-guard set, our other guards currently are Clark, Epps, Harris, RJ, and Goode, one of whom is coming off an ACL tear and none of whom have a track record of playing high-D1 minutes. I know we're trying to add an experienced CG, but I think minutes are there if you're good enough to compete at this level, just not a guaranteed starting spot.
