Not surprising. Puts a little more pressure on us to find a suitable guard we can play that is NOT a fresh.

I’m expecting a pretty heavy load for the freshmen at guard next year.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Not the most surprising surprising, but mildly disappointing given that we have 4 guards leaving already and so our margin of error on newcomers is thin.

Agree. It will be fun to watch. A lot of talent.

Well, Podz had RJ and Goode already ahead of him in soph class.
All three frosh guards/wings would have been ahead of him.
And we are looking around for an experienced guard to bring in.

He would have never cracked the rotation here.
I think he almost pulled out last year as he was wondering where he would fit.
They should have let him go. He is a MVC or MAC type kid.

Don't worry. He will end up at Akron or some shit, and put 25 on us in a game down the road. LOL.

Idk Podz dunked with ease, could attack, rebound, and hit from deep. He had a huge curve coming from small ball Wisconsin. He’s not just some clumsy slow white boy.

He had some skills without question. He is caught in a numbers crunch here and is not good enough to rise to top group this year. He wants to play now. Can't blame him.

Big scorer in high school, so I can only imagine the idea of sitting on the bench here for another year is not exactly inspiring.

Idk. We aren’t exactly deep at guard and several of them are going to be first year guys. Doesn’t seem completely crazy to think he’d be able to compete and earn decent minutes after a year in the program. Probably more pissed about being glued to the bench the last several games when our guard play was utter horse shit and primary rotation guys clearly needed some rest.

I guess if he wants to be the man then yeah, tough path here. Not sure what level he’d need to go to in order to get the keys, but it ain’t high D1.

Would really hate to see him end up at an Iowa or Purdue or something as a rotation player.

Podz averaged somewhere between 3-5 minutes, and looked like he could add 3-5 more minutes every year until his junior year. He would probably max out then.

I am familiar with the division he played in, total garbage competition

I thought he could have been a really good bench guy but if he wants to be the star of the team he's probably headed to ISU or bradley or something like that

So what’s the deal on Dainja? Not a lot of people (surprisingly) seem hyped on him, but his tape looks really impressive to me.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.
