Realistic expectations?
« on: March 18, 2022, 08:52:14 AM »
Sweet 16 for me would be a decent result.

I will be greatly disappointed if we lose today, but anything after that is a bonus.

Houston is really good, and Arizona is one of the favorites to cut down nets.

Pretty much agree.  Zero excuses we lose to Chattanooga.   Houston will be a rock fight.

No real expectations. This team could lose today, or cut down the nets. Would be nice to overperform to our seed, which we’ve still done what, once in our history?
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

And I'm not thinking that far ahead. First things first.
Shoot better than mid 40's, play defense and don't turn the ball over.

Keeping it within 10, and our loss not coming from being down 1 with 15 left and the ball, and not getting a shot off.

2 victories versus higher seeds per the Alioneye podcast with Will Leitch

I'm at Over/Under at Halsred and Diversey, in case anyone is here, and wearing my cup.

Extremely disappointing if we shit ourselves today.

Houston is a tough 4-5 draw (should have been a 3 or 4 on the S-curve) so Rd 2 is a crapshoot. They won their conference and have no "bad" losses. Second year in a row we run into a team with Final Four experience, so thanks to the committee for that.

If we get past Houston it's a matter of draws. Losing to Arizona has no shame. If TCU/Seton Hall knock off Zona, I'll be ticked if we don't get to the EE.

Have a feeling Hawkins will be the reason we win this game.
