Silver linings.  Sampson can end Underwood’s hopes for building Illinois into anything just like he did to Weber when he flipped Eric Gordon.

Awful game. Awful result (at least based on who deserved to win). 

I’m sure dick heads like Jeremy Werner will crow about what a gritty win this was…
