I'm no Cesar Romero, but that KU cheerleader needs to put more clothes on.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

Fuck Guenther for letting Bill Self get away.

This. So much pain and agony could have been avoided. I honestly think Self would have more post-season hardware had he stayed.

There’s this myth that somehow Self could’ve/would’ve stayed. Wasn’t happening. He was gone regardless of Guenther.

Self was leaving for maybe 5 jobs in all of basketball. One of them came available and was not going to lose a bidding war with us.

The problem isn't Self leaving for a top-5 job. It's that Guenther hired a wanker to replace him who couldn't recruit unless the kid was practically an Illinois fan.

The only coach that could have kept Illinois on that trajectory was Thad Matta which would have checked lot of boxes being a recruiter, mid major success, and local knows the state

While I don’t think he was the only one, he would’ve/should’ve been the choice. THAT was the mistake.

We could've just tried to hire Kruger back and it would've given us a better chance of success.

Self was gone no matter what Guenther did. Not interviewing Thad Matta was the bigger crime. He was dying to get hired here. Guenther was too afraid he would move on to another job in a few years just like Self and Kruger did. That’s not good hiring practice in any business.

And that is, and remains, the problem in Champaign. Kansas should not be allowed to outbid Illinois,  regardless of the history.

Houston blistering the nets inside the arc but having a little trouble from outside.
Shooting 31% but 0-8 From 3.

Nova shooting 28% and 3-12 from 3.

Houston needs to work on its free shot defense at the half. Nova hitting 10 of 10.

Nova shoots like 80% from the FT line as a team, they are a bad match-up for houston to say the least

Villanova, Duke, North Carolina, Kansas in the Final 4 will probably be great for ratings but I find it very boring

Villanova coach would obviously be more effective if he yelled and scowled more.
