And staff?

Bulls rookie Ayo Dosunmu on the difference between college and NBA:

“One thing I really love about the NBA is how quick coaches are there to help you make corrections.”
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Dunno. He is reported to be a very committed learner on the Bulls and he wants to get better.

Nobody would ever mistake the former staff or Hulka as BB gurus.

I’m going to take minor issue with you here. I cited this as a reason he would succeed back after the draft and I’m 98% sure you said “they all work hard.”

Did you even watch the interview?! How in the holy fuck could you take anything he said as a dig at Underwood?! He’s constantly saying what he learned at Illinois is why he’s so ready for the NBA. Did they say something like this on 670?! Have you watched any post game stuff?! Analysts are heaping nothing but praise on Ayo, Illinois, AND Underwood. Where do you come up with this shit?!

Edit- I’m not trying to ride your ass, but seriously man, it’s like you go way outta your way to belittle the coaches and the program in football and basketball. You say we’re all homers, but you go to extreme lengths the opposite direction. I don’t get it. Ayo has never said a single bad thing about Underwood or Illinois.

TRASH!

I don’t get it man. Like this is suppose to be the team you root for. Not tear down or find something to complain about all the time. It’s fucking weird.

Someone’s gotta drive traffic around here.

I don't believe so

It could also be that this is an observation any number of his teammates have told him that he's repeating.

He's got a full time job now. He can seek coaches whenever he wants.
What's the limit in college ? 20 hours a week ?

Underwood said exactly the same thing about him.

But yes, the time limits impinge on the coaches' ability to do everything they might want to do.

Insert obligatory reference to staff being completely unprepared for Loyola game here.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

The Loyola Game should always be contrasted with the Michigan game. Illini coaches did to UM what Loyola did to UI.

I wonder how either would have gone with a 100% healthy Ayo.

Well, I am not a Hulka guy, but I have always said he is good at creating a competitive culture and toughness and that is a strength.
I was never a huge Ayo fan, but gave him plenty of props when he made some improvements and adjustments after Xmas. I even started a thread commenting on his hard work to adjust to what defenses were doing.
He obviously had a very good college career.
I commented on how he had a better pre season than summer.
His shot form looks a little better from three.
He is doing OK in his minutes off the bench and no doubt will improve.

Apparently we are not to discuss the Loyola game, Hulka and staff's coaching in it, and Ayo's performance in that.
So we will leave that alone.  ;D

The kid clearly wants to succeed, it is a full time job now, and is willing to put in the work and his teammates recognize it.
Good approach and wish him the best.
