Defend it all you want. But standing up in front of the media and calling out the talent on your roster is a classless move. I don’t see how anyone can say otherwise. Apparently the team has more character than Bielema does class. Thank, god.

Bielema post game presser: If it will shut Tempo, NotTempo, Wayne and the Twitter person looking for bait clicks up, I apologize. To everyone else, enjoy the win. These guys were great today. They play hard, they play for each other and have fun doing it. All that I asked them to do is be the best you can be. Play 4 quarters. OL Alex Pihlstrom is my guy. Came here as a walk-on and is the 1st guy in the room for 7am weekday meetings, and meetings usually start with the offensive linemen.

Trying to un-meathead the meatheads. It’s not an easy job. Again, defend it all you want (we won! Yadda yadda yadda!). A coach with class should never bus toss his players in front of the media. Ever. He compared himself to a great jockey on a bad horse. Low rent. It was a good day, but inevitably, Bielema will probably get fired for losing here. Like they all do.

I honestly don’t see why it’s so hard for Illini fans to say “yeah that was uncalled for.” Instead, they shill for the arrogant coach because he’s new and gives them hope, I guess.

You can still support Bielema and say, “yeah, I really wish he hadn’t done that.”
