was that during the Marc Trestman era of NFL football that I was so engaged with?

For one year, Marc Trestman looked like the mad genius of offensive NFL football. Then suddenly like overnight he wasn’t. Yes, Chip Kelly was around that period.

I bought in his first year, and was surprised the 2nd year went so poorly. I was behind the curve on Marc Trestman.

But his first year with the Bears was by far the best offense I’ve seen in 40 years of watching the Bears.

Trestman, I was on vacation in Mexico and some french canadian guy was like le Bears hired zis canadian footeballa coach?  Tressman?  I was l ike Who the FUCK IS THAT and we both started laughing... remember there were rumors about Bill Cowher and such during that time

Member Dick Jauron? I member.  He went 13-3 that one year, them immediately got ass raped in the playoffs by the Eagles in the first round.

Sucked balls after that.

That I think was the Run and Shoop offense?  Jim Miller got ass pounded on like the first play of that philly game... brutal to watch
