I think he said Mark Smith had Kidd potential. Lots of people overrated Smith. He dominated metro east competition and never got exposed in national aau. In the end, he was a good college role player with a helicopter parent.

Curbelo was a stud before the brain injury. Saying he completely sucked is proof you are an asshole. A minor league asshole at that.

I'd have liked to have seen Payne redshirt and work with Geoff and TA. Good athlete with size and strength. No skills. Wasn't he rated about the same as Kofi out of high school?

 I don't recall expectations being overly high for Alstork. He was worth a shot because nobody else wanted to come here.

Tevian Jones looked like a steal. Was not a plan A recruit, but a good athlete with size and skills, top 125ish prospect. Had off court issues.

Austin Hutcherson is an exceptional athlete with some basketball skills.  We never saw him play due to injuries. Possible other issues?

Another thing is Underwood often says nice things about his players in public. It might be a safe bet that he saves the criticism for private moments.

The only knock on Ty Rodgers is the three point shot. He has good handles and elite passing skills. Can pass and finish through contact with either hand. Plus defender.

I dunno about Sky Clark, but Skyy looked pretty quick even before he was 100%.

Mayer is another plus defender with good handles for his size.

Bronny fits in the over-ranked group. Watch some games of his.  His only elite skill is jumping.  Nothing else.

I don’t recall anyone on that list being all that “hyped.” Maybe Mark Smith, locally. That’s it.
