An associate was in Crest Hill and Joliet that day. He saw some furniture fly by.

I had clients in Plainfield that were fine, but the entire block across the street from them was wiped out.

That's the same tornado that made its way to Soldier field right before the Bears were gonna kick off. They were trying to evacuate the fucking stadium, but the process was slowed by the fucking beer vendors at the bottom of the stairs selling beer to the evacuees.

That’s only 3-5 days a winter

It’s amazing though because no one is expected to be anywheee so a bunch of people in our neighborhood get together and play games, watch movies, make charcuterie boards and day drink

We were down here actually visiting family when that hit. We got back home to Illinois and the whole top half of 300 year old oak tree was on top of our living room. One of the limbs went through the roof, the ceiling, and there was about 4’  sticking through right above the couch. Neighbors lost outbuildings so we were seeing debris everywhere in fields as we got closer to home that night. Pulled in and it mostly looked fine. Didn’t see the tree on the house in the shadows until we were walking up the sidewalk. The 84x48’ tool shed didn’t have north sliding doors left on it either but didn’t notice that until the next day.

My neighbor lady has a son that lives near Atlanta. The last time they had like a quarter inch snow apocalypse, people were abandoning their cars on the interstate.
