Well I am pretty sure Prohm can convince some teenage basketball players that the Covid year is not indicative of his coaching abilities in light of .618 winning % over career (including the shit job year), and be able to land recruits. I mean hell Counzo keeps doing it and well look there? Teenagers are gullible

Yeah- there are 350 D1 basketball schools.
They all had to play in the same Covid context, but his situation was no doubt different.
An empty fcking chair could have went 0-18.
Actually an empty chair would have one a couple games.

Look it up.
Tell me how many other P5 conference schools went winless.
It will give you something to do today.

The empty chair opened with a win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Prohm lost the next 4, starting with South Dakota State.
The chair got the next game for a win vs Jackson State.
Prohm took over and went on an 18 game losing streak to end the season.

Well they were 0-5 start was against Weber and then 4 Top 15 teams, before an indefinate pause to the program. They also had a permanent stoppage in play which in arguably the 2nd toughest conference....Prohm had a shitty talent pool (his fault in class recruiting somewhat)...either way prior to that season results, he was/is a legit coach/recruiter....we could do much worse.

Prohm was still like 187-82 prior to the last 2 seasons at Iowa State, so anyone can bag on him, pretty sure he will have a gig again and win again. I still would have taken him on the bench with Underwood/Frazier/Alexander....think we would have been just fine.
