Still holding out hope for Mennenga....BU, Mennenga, Frazier, Alexander might be formidable. Mennenga for connections, Frazier for defense and player development, Alexander for offensive mind, throw Irvin in for the Chicago connection and all on campus meet/greets.

I’m on board with this.

Don’t think there’s any way we get Mennenga from Oregon or Charlton Young from FSU.

Either Bailey or Pinkins are both solid hires if we get one. Sounds like possible drama with Payne if we get Pinkins, so I’m voting Bailey.

Nick Irvin is as the non-recruiter is the key. Could set us up huge going forward.

Alexander is well liked and has quite the history with BU....would be easy for him to slide into a position, add Frazier, and ???? we will see. Mennenga coaxed back to Rantoul would be nice, hope that might be enough, but I doubt it.

Mennenga is not likely going anywhere. If there was any traction it would be out there.
I can't imagine Rantoul is an incentive.
We are onto Plan B's.

Powell, Young, Mennenga are not interested.
We, unfortunately, are maybe not even a lateral move in those cases.

Powell didn’t want to do a lateral move.

No idea what happened with Mennenga Maybe Underwood didn’t like him when they talked.  Perhaps they take another shot at Young but I think UCONN wants him to stay

Not sure about this Al fellow...

Probably trying to find another HC gig or go announcing route. Would love to have him sit in with this staff though, even if only for a year or 2.

Situation can speak to alot of things, Prohm loss were mostly attributed to Covid related times and he is a .618 winning % coach overall. He also stopped Kansas home winning streak at Iowa State...so another plus.

This thread indicates that White is an asshole, but Pinkins isn't interested in a lateral move to Illinois.
