Need to buy a new gas grill after 18 years. Needs to have wheels so I can store it in the garage. Any thoughts?

A Weber. 3 burner is preferable over 2.

definitely buy a "made in America" Weber Grill nothing comes close to the quality of them these days

do not waste your time with a 2 burner one, I had one, it sucked balls, would only get to like 500F on a good day

or if you really want to change the game get a traeger and a blackstone flat top

I would guess that space is limited for you though

Yeah, looking for a 3 burner. Currently have a 2 burner. Which Weber though? Are the ones with the digital thermostat actually any good? The Weber app any good?

Depends on your budget. I have a 3 burner Spirit at home. Works great and it's 25 years old.
I've got a 2 burner Spirit at the cabin. It weighs a lot less and tucking it away for the winter is easier. It's not the grill that the 3 burner is.
The dial thermometers work for me. You have to either learn the thermometer and what it says or calibrate it with a thermometer you trust as far as temperature reading. I just set the heat to give me the temperature I want to cook on the dial. I don't know what the grill temp truly is when the thermometer reads 400, but it's a temp that I use most often. Give or take.
Dunno about digital thermometers, but I would just learn how to cook off what it says.
I've read mixed reviews on all apps. When they work, fine. If the connection drops, not so fine.

Go with the Spirit, and the money you save over a Genesis or Summit can be spent on a Weber kettle or Weber Smoky Mountain. 😁
Cast iron grates are a must tho.

These are on my to do list. Saw this a couple of days ago.
Probably cook on gas. If it goes well, then cook over charcoal.

With pellet grills coming down in price not sure why a person would go with gas these days but if you have your heart set on gas this one looks pretty great

Damn those do look bad ass but Jesus are they made from unobtainium or something?

I haven’t had a gas grill in ages because I’m an OCD charcoal/wood purist so I use a Kamado style cooker for the versatility and efficiency but sounds like for just a pure gas grill a Weber is the way to go.

I'll grill all year too. Gas is nice when it's below freezing, and for cooking brats in the summer.
