I don’t know that I’ve ever been too concerned with the moniker.

What I do know is that I’ve made valid points concerning Ayo and Underwood that have yet to be countered other than the typical, but, but, but Ayo is an All American and Genius brought him in.

What did it get us besides arguably the most embarrassing College basketball program in America right now minus maybe Ohio State.

Damn, h.q. is back.  Was looking somewhere to vent about the crapfest of a game.  Still in disbelief and anger.  Probably been hammered with posts about the gameplan.  I didn't read the thread.  But what the hell were the coaches doing?  Not a single adjustment anywhere i really seen.  And why the hell wasnt kofi guarding the krutweg dork?  Get out there on him and dont let him make a easy pass especially when the guards were getting beat back door over and over again.  It was baffling to say the least.  Still pissed about this game and the tournament now is pretty much unwatchable.  Just a shit show.

Let’s be honest here. If I were the coach hypothetically I would’ve just fed Kofi the entire game, but that was the problem all year. Too many mouths to feed led by the ultimate mouth feeder Batman and half the time he was just doing that And 1 streetball stuff. So to me this isn’t on Kofi. It’s not on Miller or Curbelo either.

Put it where it belongs. Underwood. Ayo and Frazier shooting a combined 5 for 20 and the guards for the most part played zero defense. Kofi can’t do it himself.

Never blamed Kofi.  More on Underwood and the gameplan.  Im saying put Kofi on that dude out high and dont let him get easy passes to wherever the wanted to go.   It was a stupid defensive gameplan.  At least change something at the half.

Most of the people I talk to in the Peoria area won’t come out publically and say it, but they’ll say it to my face that Ayo is a team killer. He buzz killed this team first half of the season. He gets hurt and they play better without him. He comes back and they’re still winning, but it just didn’t look quite right and the reason is the “team” aspect was gone when he’s in there. I get it he’s a great athlete and enjoy the NBA, but I’m not exactly going to miss him. If Kofi comes back we’re fine. If not welcome to the NIT.

They sure looked good against Nebraska and Wisconsin. Manhandled #2 on the road by 23. But again I get it. Because it’s Ayo the “savior” he gets a pass. Shoot another 40 times chasing 20.

I’ve yet to see one poster give me a valid response other than. “But he’s our all American” “he’s Batman!”...

And let’s be honest. The Maryland game was the last one I watched until the Michigan game as I just happened to want to see if it was for real without Ayo. Rewatch the Maryland game and you’ll see why people stopped watching and I’m sure some stopped well before that. Baylor rolled us. We couldn’t win the border war. Took a last second shot to beat Ohio.

That’s the reality here. They sold us on a Lamborghini preseason and gave us a pinto. By the end of the season it was upgraded to a Corvette, but not quite Lamborghini status.

Go watch that Maryland game again and you’ll understand why people wanted to throw their TVs out the window.
