No chance ucla wins here.  I expect a beatdown here in o.t.

I did too, but impressive resiliency by UCLA. So often the “better team” pulls it out when given a 2nd chance.

Yeah got a little carried away on the fouling there. Nate Oats lost to an 11 seed guess he’s off Texas’ list now.

Nice rebound from UCLA after that last second shot.  Thought they were s.o.l.  Too bad Bama.  U guys have football.  Must be nice.

UCLA isn’t your typical midmajor 11 seed.

Damn, George Mason was 15 years ago, already.

UCLA isn’t your typical midmajor 11 seed.

3 of the 4 11 seeds (MSU, SYR, UCLA) were major conference teams that were among the last at large teams to be selected because they didn’t have very good seasons. MSU won some huge games late to get on the right side of the bubble. UCLA lost four in a row at the end of the season, which put them on the bubble. Something like ~2% of people had them making it this far and those were probably computer or child generated brackets. 🤣

The winner this year is some West Coast basketball fanatic with 3 Pac 12 teams and Gonzaga.

I don't even want to look but this has to be by far my worst bracket ever

They were a preseason top 25 team, have a top notch coach, and have “ UCLA” on their jerseys. I don’t think anyone has been taking them lightly.

His career kinda says otherwise.

Just like MSU. Their body of work was unimpressive.

And yet I can guarantee you, almost no one would have been totally shocked if they were still playing.

Glad I didn’t bother filling one out. It wouldn’t have been pretty.
