I don't know all of the details about him leaving, but it should have been a huge priority. 

I do like that Sgt Hulka is trying to expand the bench and used a different lineup.
That is our only hope to get better down the stretch here.

Yeah really wish Griffin would have stuck around. I don’t think he and his family ever were that excited about him being here but I am sure they recognized that he’d playing the 4 a lot this year with Kofi and Ayo dominating the ball. He seems to have the green light at Syracuse and be playing more of a wing role. Hard to blame him.

Well, he is doing 16/7 at Syracuse with 29 threes. Taking 13 shots a game which he wouldn't get here with the Ayo NBA audition tour offense.
He is arguably a little more athletic and longer than anybody we have on the perimeter.
Kid made some stupid plays, but made a lot of plays.

he made plenty of stupid decisions on the court as well with all his dumb T's and ejections

glad to see he has possibly matured a bit and he would be a good fit here still but I think he was a bit too far from home

As much as I'd love to have EJ Liddell and/ or Drew Timme, I have some doubts as to fit, based on skill set. If Liddell consistently shot well from three; he would be a nice fit at the 4. He does not. He is an undersized 4/5 with exceptional length.

I have not seen Timme play much. Based on scouting reports, he is a better version of GB. Timme would be an upgrade in terms of passing, ball handling, and midrange shooting, but he would not stretch the defense.

Playing either Liddell or Timme with Kofi could create defensive issues, much like pairing GB with Kofi.

I think any serviceable longer 3/4 who can either bang like a mofo, or step out and hit threes and guard the other 3/4's would make us better.
Its just a roster hole unless Hawkins and Grandison can step up and add more. They might.
We have a tough slate of games coming up.

Agreed. Definitely need Grandison and Hawkins playing in that role more. I think Underwood finally realized that as well. That’s the balance we need.
