Truth. My balance sheet is fine, but seems the best part of retirement is doing a lot of cooking, because eating out has gotten ridiculous. It's fun, but the bills are just baffling even if you did the math and think you can afford it. No matter if Custard is lying about the price of eggs or not, if you make a couple of eggs for breakfast, it's definitely cheaper than a $15-$20 omelet.
