As someone who worked 20 years in the restaurant industry, Valentine’s Day is ALWAYS one of the busiest days of the year. And it was a Saturday.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Plays right into the fact that blue cities are the epicenters of the “affordability crisis”

You said there is no crisis

You said there is no crisis

Where? And when I do say it it’s in quotes because I’m mocking it. When prices were skyrocketing in 2021-22 and restaurants took prices out of their menus because they were changing so often, Ray told us it was just transitory. 4 years later and a different president, and every MSM company starts running the same “affordability crisis” narrative like this just started. Naturally, Ray believes that, as well.

And yes, blue states and cities are the places hardest hit by persistent high prices because people in these areas grit their teeth and convince themselves they love it right up until the money runs out. Then you have what’s happening in California.

The fed initially said the post pandemic was transitory. Not sure where you got the just part. It was world wide and related to bottlenecked supply chains.

It proved to be more persistent than expected. Some say this was due to other transient factors; stimulus packages, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a labor shortage... The Fed backed off calling it Transitory

I have said and believe no such thing.

Inflation has slowed to almost pre-pandemic levels, but prices remain high and tariffs have made the cup of coffee I am enjoying too expensive. Trade relations are not good.

It's not a crisis. Not yet. More like snafu

So fine a college educated bureaucrat needed a 2nd job waiting tables!

Not needed, wanted. There’s a difference. There are a lot of opportunities to get ahead in this world. Are you willing to do it is the question…

Semantics, if your day job was paying you a salary you were satisfied with you wouldn’t be getting a second job

Only fucktards think voter fraud is a “serious” issue in America. It’s been proven again and again that it isn’t; gerrymandering is a much bigger issue.

Starbuck’s Pike Place K Cups (my personal favorite) are now $14.99 per 10 at Jewel. Not long ago they were $8.99.

You could go to Wegmans for a better price than at The Jewel.

I get 2 1/2 pounds of coffee for less than your 20 burned bean K-cups.

I go to Woodman’s for most of my stuff. Those same K cups are probably $5 cheaper at Woodman’s. Saw an item at Jewel this morning that was $6.49. I can get the same item at Woodman’s for $3.49.

Jewel is closer to home, and I needed milk. One of the few items that’s the same price as woodman’s. Slightly cheaper, even. Jewel has good deals on fruit and meats sometimes; and sometimes good deals on the app.

You could probably get an Uber to get you all the way to Woodmans and back if it's too far away.
There's an app for that.
