Sucks because if we just box out and grab a rebound or two or knock down a few more shots, we’re talking about a 13th straight W. But it’s one loss in overtime to a top 10 team on the road with our stud freshman having an off night. We were due for a clunker.

Just protect home court next week before a tricky west coast trip. We’re still in pretty good shape.

The ILLINI had a bad shooting night, and going against Breslin fans/Izzo/refs and most importantly Fears who is indeed a dirty player.....well just too much to overcome. The stats speak to a even game #5-#10, however some calls (non calls) are weighted differently than others.

Come March....ANY coach going against MSU better be in the refs ears prior to a game calling on refs to watch his play. 1 time maybe accident, multiple obvious ones is a trend of dirty plays.

MSU scoring defense, and adjsuted are Top 5 in both....at home, missing shots, too much......move on!

We got punched in the teeth and didn't respond. Better now than in March.

I agree in principle, it does seem that our fanbase goes there ALOT....that said, this game the fouls were even, the intensity/timing was not.
