Steve Pikiell - Rutgers....had a good run, red headed step child once again it seems.

Iowa State holds on to their 3 point lead at halftime over Houston by shooting 3-13 from 3 and 2-7 from the free shot line in the 2nd half.
The Cyclones were 11-22 from the free shot line for the game.

2 very aggressive defensive teams the entire game, anyone meeting either in March will have their hands full, that said both looked very beatable at times. Double team/traps for both teams, made the pg/ball handing guards easily rattled it seemed. Very sloppy passing with defensive pressure, not overall good 3 pt shooting by either as well, take Heise and Fleming out of the equation....not good. FT shooting put either team on the line, and it would seem you would win against either one....horrendous. Houston is 31st nationally......................................BUT Iowa State is 348??????, btw Gonzaga is 277th...WOW

Hate Houston and ISU’s style of play. Like to think great offense beats great defense especially with today’s rules, but depends how games are called I suppose.

All you need to know about ESPN ACC bias is apparent right now....Front page header NC St taking it to UNC #16....all the while you got the B1G #1 vs #7 matchup goin on....seriously. That says tons right there imo.
