Badgers weren't hot from three like they normally are. Only 27% from deep tonight.

Buckeyes were at 52% from deep.

Iowa takes down Nebraska 57-52 in a shootout reminiscent of the Bruce Weber era

Texas Tech falls into the Arizona St. trap and probably lost JT Toppin for the season too.

I recently watched all of the old 2004 2005 Illini basketball games in their entirety. Maybe it’s different for you guys, but I remembered us pretty much beating the shit out of every team we played in every game to the point where I thought we were invincible.

The reality was that team had to grind out a lot of tough wins against not very good teams. And the Big Ten was not good in that stretch of years.

Yeah, Michigan State and Wisconsin got deep that year, but Wisconsin was a bit of a fluke and the rest of the league was hot garbage. We barely squeaked out away games against bad Purdue and middling Iowa. Went to OT at home against Iowa, struggled with a terrible Michigan team at home. Lost to a bad OSU team after letting our foots off the gas.

That squad played a LOT of games in the 50s/60s that year and they almost went undefeated. Crazy to see where we are now.

UCLA goes down by over 20 pts (2nd game in a row), should be 3 really quick (Saturday), Cronin ejects his own player, and goes off on reporter about MSU student section.

UCLA got a 4.5 million per year Coach who has lost this team imo, doesn't have a very good overall team makeup, Contract buyout drops from 22.5 million to 18 million if after March of this year. 2nd highest paid coach in the B1G right now.

Any guess' on the next B1G coach to be replaced? Hot Seat Candidates: Deibler, Pikiell, Altman (retire) , Cronin.

I think I pretty much speak for everyone when I say Nebraska can go ahead and fuck off and remember they're Nebraska.

Nebraska is well coached and with Frager still on board, and 2 4* as of now for next year and with transfers will be coming in, they will stay middle tier at worst each year.

The NIL makes it possible, the portal makes it possible, where in the past playing for Nebraska made it impossible as most kids I don't think ever would have thought about it.

Yeah weberball was  honestly the fucking worst.  The wins overrode the hard to watch aspects of a lot of those games.  Not really a shocker he couldn't recruit even after that run he had

Top 25 games today

Arizona vs BYU could be UGLY....Arizona is favored 11.5 at home....last 2 games losses, BYU without Saunders, 11.5 seems way to low. Bet the over on that one, it could be 20+ easy.

ILLINI vs the Trojan's, I hope they come to play the earlier the play hard, the better....9.5 seems like a lot on the road....LOL

UCONN vs Creighton...favored 15.5....last time they won by 27....easy cover here also imo.

Arkansas vs Bama....at home Bama favored 4.5, Arkansas wins this one, take the 4.5.

Kansas vs Okie St...-6.5 favored on the road, over/under 158.5....bet the under as Okie St should not get their average.

Virginia vs GT - -13.5 Virginia way....don't think they cover, also don't know if they can get to 148.5 either combined.

St Johns vs Quette...this is the easiest outside of AZ imo, -8.5 on the road against a really bad team....this is easy a 15+ win.

Vandy vs Mizery...Toss up game -3.5 Vandy way....stay away....LOL

Zags vs San Fran - Zags win by -15.5 + and cover AS LONG as they don't have to shoot to many Free Throws....they are terrible at the line.

We play with the same energy as vs IU, we should cover easily.  We've had the wake up call.  Time to start peaking!
